Jaren Leon Savage, is Founder and CEO of his eponymous brand, which began in 2018, and had its global launch in 2023.
Savage, an inherent storyteller and multi-disciplinary artist, shares his artistic passion through various mediums, including fashion and automotive design, painting, photography, film, writing, illustration, and music, as he is a classically trained clarinetist. Born and raised in Compton, California, his ability to visualize creative possibilities for his clientele in unique and extraordinary color palettes and silhouettes remains an innate gift that has been nurtured since childhood.
As an avid explorer of vast domains and cultures, Savage has journeyed across oceans to Africa, the Far East, Orient, Cuba and Europe; including educational stays in Italy in 2015 and a 2022
summer residency at the prestigious, Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in both Como and Milan where his deep knowledge of plush Italian fabrics and impeccable sartorial tailoring enhanced and led to his next entrepreneurial footprint into reinvigorating the art of authentic Made-in-Italy. Savage also studied Industrial and Transportation design at the renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Driven by purpose and soulful action, Savage serves his community as a mentor, advocate, and advisor for educational, civic, leadership, and entrepreneurial endeavors. As a community leader, he has served as an advisor to the Compton Pledge, Guaranteed Income program, Advisor, City of Compton, My Brother’s Keeper and member of the 2019 Obama Foundation, MBK Summit national planning committee, member of the Leadership Council for the Aspen Institute’s, Fresh Tracks program, and a member of a diverse coalition of leaders who partnered with the Watts Empowerment Center. Savage also worked as the Lead Mentor and Intern at the Yetunde Price Resource Center (YPRC), a comprehensive violence prevention and education non-profit in Compton, California, established by Serena and Venus Williams, in honor of their sister who was tragically murdered.
Savage remains a passionately devoted connoisseur of the automobile industry, traveling to myriad locales and world-renowned events, including the Concorso d’Eleganza in both Como, Italy and Monterey, California, to Switzerland’s Geneva International Motor Show, and various Formula One Grands Prix in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. A featured photographer for the LA Auto Show and contributor to the LA Sentinel, Jaren is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, National Association of Black Journalists Association, and the Motor Press Guild.
